Internet Access: from Low to High Income Countries
The World Bank 2021 report’s insight in the difference internet access costs worldwide was a big eye opener for me. Without lower access costs, it will not be possible for developing countries to accelerate the use of data. No affordable access, no data.
I did a deep dive to see what the internet network differences between countries are by looking at data science ‘centrality metrics‘. These can tell have far, on average, information is from one point to another. This makes it possible to compare countries.
